Opal Collins married Ben Collins Jr., a World War II veteran, in the mid-1950s. However, the relationship between Opal and Ben’s family is complicated. Opal engaged in intense conflicts with her in-laws, to the extent that she compelled her husband to get rid of them from their residence. The sole survivor was her father-in-law, as he was absent from home on that particular day.
