This article gives CSK vs MI My11Circle Team Prediction; detailed analysis on Pitch Report, Playing XIs, Fantasy XI.
Time: 19.30 IST.
Venue: DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai
Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians, the two most successful teams in the history of IPL have found themselves under the pump in this edition of the Tournament. The auction didn’t go as per plans for both the franchises and they are finding it difficult to pose a challenge to the highly skilled teams. Inspite of all these their fans would hope that like before, they would be able to use their experiences and turn the tide in their favor as the tournament progresses gradually. The “El Clasico” of the IPL might not be of the highest quality this year, but it would certainly be a hard-fought one and the team winning it might pave their way back into the race of the playoffs.
The DY Patil Stadium has been a happy hunting ground for the chasing teams. Dew plays a big factor in this venue and the team winning the toss gets a huge advantage. The pitch is a fresh one and is expected to be much better to bat especially in the second inning. If dew settles in the latter half of the match, batting would ease out even more in the second inning, and the team defending a score must have those extra 10-15 runs.

CSK vs MI Probable Playing XIs:
CSK: After a nightmare start to the IPL, CSK has managed to turn things around to a certain extent. Thanks to Robin Uthappa and Shivam Dube both of whom have been in sublime form. The absence of their spearhead Deepak Chahar is making their bowling department look a bit fragile. Experience has always been the strength of this franchise and this year again they will look to turn their campaign banking on experience.
Ruturaj Gaikwad, Robin Uthappa, Moeen Ali, Ambati Rayudu, Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja(c), MS Dhoni(wk), DJ Bravo, Chris Jordan, M Theekshana, Mukesh Choudhary.
MI: Like CSK, Mumbai has had even a more disastrous start. The two most successful teams have been seen struggling the most in this edition of the IPL. With the departure of Hardik, Krunal, MI are finding it hard to strike a balance in their Playing XI. Though SKY is playing some beautiful cricket, the form of Rohit & Pollard, their Captain & Vice-Captain is causing concern for the franchise. The bowling department also lacks a world-class spinner. Jasprit Bumrah is not getting enough support from the others and together they are not looking up to the mark as a bowling group.
